We are excited to share the first of many fundraising adventures with you and its ...A SHOE DRIVE! Yes, we're doing a shoe drive and we need to collect 10,000 pounds of shoes! We like this fundraiser because there is no cost to us and there is the potential to raise a substantial amount of money. Angel Bins will send a truck on our TBD collection date and pay us $5,000 in exchange for the 10,000 pounds of gently worn, wearable shoes. We will receive 50 cents per pound of shoes over that 10,000 pound goal! We recently learned of a family that made over $20,000 from their shoe drive!
We have mentioned this fundraiser to some friends and family and believe it or not the shoes are already starting to show up! This is A LOT of shoes...like 500 trash bags full so we REALLY need your help!
We will be updating this blog with drop off sites and dates in the near future, but if you're cleaning out and have shoes that you would like to donate, please don't hesitate to contact us and we'll arrange to get them.
How can you help us? So glad you asked! Would you be willing to coordinate a shoe drive at your SCHOOL, OFFICE, CHURCH, CIVIC ORGANIZATION OR AMONG YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY? We can use all the help we can get and we'd love for you to partner with us.
When collecting shoes please be sure to TIE THE LACES TOGETHER or USE A RUBBER BAND TO SECURE THEM TOGETHER. Angel Bins does not want shoes taped together because it ruins the shoes and its hard to get the tape off.

If It would be more economical for you than the cost of shipping shoes, a donation ear marked for help with posters advertising the shoe drive is also an option. We have to spread the word to get that many shoes! Thank you for your heart to help either way!
